American bakeries range from wholesale operations that supply restaurants to neighborhood shops that sell bread, pastries, cookies and cakes over the counter, and many of them also pour coffee. Bagel shops boil and bake on site and sell out of favorite flavors by late morning; donut shops open before dawn and are often family-run; patisseries and cake studios take custom orders for weddings and birthdays and usually need one to two weeks' notice. Ice cream parlors, gelato shops and frozen yogurt bars are seasonal in the northern states and year-round in the South and on the West Coast. Prices are posted per item, by the dozen or by the pound, and most shops now take cards and mobile payment.

Palm Beach Gardens is in Florida, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Palm Beach Gardens follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Joseph and Ashley offered bar-none the best, most personalized, humane, kindly, edifying service we have ever encountered at any Läderach. Having grown up in Switzerland, I was raised on this brand; my spouse and I have been unwaveringly loyal to it and turn to it for all our corporate gifts: we have spent myriad thousands on these immaculate Confections. And, I reiterate, Joseph and Ashley are unequivocally the best employees we have ever encountered, in any store, any country, any continent, by a landslide. They are warm, lovely, patient, informative, and most importantly, authentic. They treat humans as humans should treat others in a world where such treatment is rarer than extinct: with geniality, thoughtfulness, and composed care. Conversely, the monthly flavor, "Physalis," is an indescribable abuse on all the senses. Not only has Läderach, perhaps for the very first time, fallen short of excellence; this chocolate may well be the single worst food item I have ever consumed in my near-forty years. I would not wish it on my worst enemy, feed it to prisoners, or hand it out in communist bread lines. It is absolutely horrid beyond description, adjective, or comprehension. We

I have been coming to this store since they arrived in the mall. The manager, Andrea, always recognizes me and greets me right away. I feel like family when I come in. Felicia and the rest of the staff are always so kind and helpful. Always looking forward to coming back, especially when there’s a new seasonal flavor!

The staff looks miserable and they’ve gotten super stingy with samples… Which is what sells are chocolate. Went in last night around seven… crack a smile it won’t hurt you. If I was the type of customer that would try everything and buy barely anything I could understand the behavior even though you shouldn’t discriminate, but when we go in there we spend big money. I might sound harsh but I used to actually enjoy coming here because everyone was so sweet and friendly and that’s changed so I’m gonna say something. This is my third time going in there and feeling like I’m bothering the staff to buy their expensive chocolate. The only thing saving this place is their chocolate and I’m thinking to just order online moving forward. They’re annoying, especially the colored lady working January 26 the evening up. The reason I point out her description is because there was another lady there working as well and it wasn’t her. I tried to get her name but she wasn’t wearing a name tag.

*Update* 02/17/2026 - I emailed with Laderach’s customer service and they eventually sent me a $25 gift card! I really hope this review encouraged Laderach to provide a ac technician at the store due to the warm climate the employees were in as well. Also, I updated my review to five stars specifically to uphold the brands image. I will retry this location in the near future. Thank you, Laderach🖤 The worst laderach store I’ve ever been too? The chocolate was literally expired. Typically laderach stores are cold but this one was warm. I really don’t know if it was due to the ac vent not working, but to walk into my favorite chocolate store and see a hooked up ac machine right in front of the white chocolate popcorn.. the juxtaposition is crazy. I came all this way so of course I had to get an employee to grab it for me. I paid almost $40 between this expired popcorn and chocolate ! I am extremely disappointed to pay all this money and get items that were not properly stored!!

I frequently shop for chocolate, primarily in Aventura or Palm Beach Gardens. Unfortunately, my last two purchases at this location have been disastrous. Two weeks ago, I bought four different chocolates as small gifts for my friends. To my surprise, when I got home, I found that the four different chocolates, totaling $70, were crammed into one small bag. This had never happened before, and I couldn't gift them as I wasn't able to repackage them presentably. Yesterday, I purchased a large piece of hazelnut chocolate for $40 as a birthday gift. However, when I got home, I discovered a bag of chocolate granola instead. I understand that the piece might have been too large to fit into a small plastic bag, but what you did is simply unacceptable. I hope someone from the corporate office sees this post, as the staff at this location clearly needs some training on how to not damage your product before handing it to the customer.
